Salary: £14,007 per annum
Hours: 25 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days

NCEA Trust, is looking to appoint a peripatetic Assistant Cook to work in our busy kitchens covering
staff shortages, special events etc. This varied role will offer an exciting rare opportunity as you will
be required to work at any of our schools which are located in Ashington, Newbiggin By The Sea,
Lynemouth, Warkworth and Alnwick. You will provide quality support to the Unit Catering Manager
and wider team in ensuring the smooth running of the catering service. You will assist in the
preparation, cooking, and serving of high quality meals to students, staff and guests in accordance
with the specified menu, while offering hands-on assistance throughout the department.
You will be required to adhere to all food hygiene and health and safety legislation.
The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, willing to help others, provide an excellent service
and with an approach that is flexible to adapt to changing situations.
