Salary: Band 3, £18,498 per annum
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 2 additional days

Grace Darling and James Knott Primary Schools are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful individual to join a dedicated and hardworking team of learning support staff.  

We are looking for an SEN Learning Support Assistant who will enjoy being effective in supporting SEN students.  Providing learning support to pupils who need particular help to overcome barriers to learning, such as those with moderate and severe learning difficulties and/or behavioural, social, communication, sensory or physical disabilities.

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, willing to help others and with an approach that is flexible to adapt to changing situations in a fast-moving environment.  Experience of working with young children with communication needs and those with a diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorder would be an advantage.

The hours of this post are 32.5 per week, term time plus 3 additional days.  There are both fixed term and permanent positions available.
