“Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility”
View our safeguarding policies on our Policies page.
All those who come into contact with children, young people and families in their everyday working life, including those who do not have a specific role in relation to child protection, have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
Within NCEA Trust, the welfare of our students is paramount, to support this we have a number of dedicated safeguarding, welfare and pastoral personnel employed across the Trust and in our schools.
As a Trust we have a zero-tolerance approach to behaviours that foster the prevalence of abuse and assault in all its forms. We take all such issues very seriously and encourage anyone affected to talk to staff in our schools directly, staff will listen and take further advice regarding next steps. When schools are closed help and advice can be found below.
