Lettings Co-Ordinator

Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Band 3 £24,790 – £25,183 pro rota (actual £16,750 – £17,015)
Closing Date: 23/06/2025
Hours: 25 hours per week, all year round 

NCEAT has a unique opportunity for a Lettings Co-ordinator to join the facilities team and support the facility rental within the Trust. 

The successful candidate will work with the lettings assistants to ensure that hirers are met onsite and receive a high standard of customer service, as well as ensuring that the correct guidelines and procedures are followed in line with health and safety regulations.  

This is an ad hoc position, with working patterns usually falling on evenings and weekends, so this is an ideal role for someone looking to work flexibly.

Main Roles and Responsibilities: 

  • Meeting new/existing customers onsite and carrying out tours of the facility  
  • Carry out inductions with new customers to the site  
  • Liaise with Caretakers, lettings assistant and cleaners on a regular basis to ensure smooth operational functionality of all hireable facilities 
  • Authorise/book in lettings for sites within the Trust 
  • Maintain a highly visible, friendly and approachable presence during lettings

Cleaner

Salary: Band 1, £12.26 per hour (£23,656 per annum, pro rata. Actual salary – £18,848)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 15 additional days (10:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Friday, including a 30 minute unpaid break each day)
Closing Date: Monday 16th June

Josephine Butler Campus which houses Duke’s Secondary School, Bishop’s Primary School and Castle School is seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated team. You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students, staff, and visitors.

Your main responsibilities will be to carry out a range of cleaning duties to a high standard including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins and cleaning wash rooms/toilets, offices, classrooms, corridors and any other area within the school. You will ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly. Safe use of equipment and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety Legislation and Trust policies is vital.

About you:

The successful candidate should be enthusiastic, provide an excellent service and with an approach that is flexible to adapt to changing situations. Be able to work independently or as part of a team and have good attention to detail.

Catering Assistant

Salary: Band 1, £12.26 per hour
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days
Closing Date: Wednesday 11th June

There is an exciting opportunity within the Trust as we are looking for a Catering Assistant to join our busy catering team and support with the service of meals and refreshments at William Leech Primary School.

This role is perfect for someone who is looking to gain more experience in a catering environment where they are valued and supported by an experienced team.

Main roles and responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the general preparation, cooking and service of food and drinks.
  • Preparing and storing food correctly to ensure that health and safety standards are followed.
  • General kitchen duties such as washing up, cleaning surfaces and putting equipment away after it has been used.
  • Packing meals and refreshments for transport to other locations where necessary, such as school trips or training days.
  • Assisting with setting up the dining area when necessary.

Caretaker – Peripatetic

Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round
Salary: Band 4 – £25,584 – £27,269 per annum 
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: Monday 9th June

We are seeking to appoint a reliable, pro-active and conscientious Caretaker to join our Facilities Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of James Knott Primary School with occasional cover when required at other school sites across the area ensuring a safe and clean environment for all users.

You will ensure the security, safety and efficiency of the school. You will contribute to a wide variety of tasks including daily unlocking/locking of the school, maintenance of school buildings, DIY tasks, minor repairs and carrying out mandatory testing.

You may be required to provide cover at other schools and carry out any other duties appropriate to the nature, level of the post and grade (Peripatetic Caretakers).

You will be required to understand that the safety and wellbeing of our pupils is always our priority.
