Management Accountant

Contract type: Permanent
Salary: Band 7-8 depending on experience and qualifications (£34,314 – £42,708) 
Closing Date: 12pm Monday 9th June 
Hours: 37 hours per week, all year round 

The Trust are seeking a skilled Management Accountant to join the finance team and support with the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, and providing key financial insight across our multi-academy Trust.

The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking financial and administrative processes within the Academy and overseeing/reviewing the work of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Support with compiling and producing financial performance reports in line with The Academies Financial Handbook
  • Provide budget holders with reports, acting as a business partner for defined business areas to ensure accurate budget control is maintained to financial and non-financial decision makers  
  • Assist with the Year End Accounts preparation and Audit
  • Ensure all month end queries are answered in detail with supporting reconciliations as required
  • Deputising for the Finance Director when required

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to excellence. Education/public sector experience is an advantage but not essential.

Procurement Assistant

Hours: 22.5 hours per week, all year round.
Salary: Band 5 £27,711 – £30,559 per annum, pro rata
