Salary: MPS/UPS (£30,000 – £46,525) plus SEN point 1 (£2,539)

The Trust currently has an opportunity for an energetic, creative and resilient teacher to work within a committed team at Castle School.
Castle School is a Special School that caters to 134 children with complex and multiple learning difficulties and disabilities. The school aims to provide an individualised and innovative learning experience for its students, with a dedicated staff team that create a supportive learning environment.
In turn, Castle School offers the chance for you to work in a purpose built provision with
multi-sensory rooms, a food technology room, an ICT room, a trampoline room for rebound
therapy, hydrotherapy pool, sixth form common room and independent living area.
Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Work alongside other members of staff such as teachers and teaching assistants to ensure that learners needs are met.
- Plan and deliver appropriate lessons that are engaging for the students and encourage them to reach their full potential.
- Support children in their learning and development by encouraging them to explore new interests during lessons.
- Ensure any necessary documentation is completed in line with policy and procedure.
