James Knott Primary School are looking for a creative, dedicated and inspiring teacher to join an ambitious team and support the pupils learning and development in an environment where staff and students are valued.

Please note, interviews for this position will take place on Thursday 7th December.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that are suitable to the current curriculum and help create a positive learning environment.
  • Liaise with other members of staff such as teachers, support staff and department heads to ensure that the pupils needs are being met.
  • Have a knowledge of current educational thinking and strategies to raise attainment, and be passionate about building positive relationships with young people to help them succeed.
  • Ensure any necessary documentation is completed in line with policy and procedure.
  • Support children in their learning and development by encouraging them to explore new interests during lessons.
