Salary: Band 4 (£22,369 – £24,054 pro rota) actual salary £19,297 – £20,750

Castle School have an exciting opportunity for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team and work to support the learning and development of the students at Castle School. The students are aged between 2 – 19 years and have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. The ideal candidate will be creative and supportive when encouraging the students to learn and develop.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, dynamic and resourceful, with the ability to work effectively within a dedicated and hardworking team of specialist support staff.

Day to day duties include building positive relationships with the children, encouraging them to interact with each other, and supporting the class teacher with the planning and implementation of the lessons.
