Salary: Band 5 £26,421 – £29,269 pro rota (actual £20,020 – £22,180)
Hours: 32.5 hours per week, term time plus 5 additional days

James Knott Primary School are looking for an HLTA to join their team to support the children’s learning and development through classroom support, teaching, and intervention sessions.
Duties Include:
- Supporting the pupils consistently whilst also encouraging them to work independently by responding to their individual needs.
- Cover full classes in the event of class teacher absence.
- Providing the teacher with accurate and objective feedback on pupil progress and ensuring supporting evidence is available.
- Deliver learning activities to pupils within an agreed framework of supervision, adjusting activities to meet pupil needs.
- Plan and deliver intervention sessions with the students in line with the current curriculum.
- Work independently to provide preparation, planning and assessment (PPA) cover with a commitment to whole class teaching and working collaboratively with class teachers.
- Support the teacher with behaviour management and establish effective ways to encourage the class to engage.
