Salary: Band 4 £24,294 – £25,979 pro rota (actual £17,930 – £19,160)

James Knott Primary School are looking for an inspiring, enthusiastic and resourceful Early Years Learning Support Assistant to join a dedicated and hardworking team of staff.
The successful candidate will be creative when working alongside the children to engage their curiosity and interest, whilst supporting their learning and development in a stimulating environment. A learning support assistant should be adaptable, flexible and a good communicator with the skills to develop the early learning goals.

Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure that children have access to appropriate activities to support their physical, emotional, social and intellectual development.
- Devise and engage in the delivery of play care and learning activities. Takes responsibility for managing the provision of play, care and learning.
- Ensure standards are met at all times and assist in the development and regular review of policies and procedures to be followed.
- Contribute to reviews of children’s progress.
- Be aware of and support difference and ensure all children have equal access to opportunities to learn and develop.
