Salary: Band 5 £26,421 – £29,269 pro rota (actual £9,750 – £10,800)

Warkworth Primary School are looking for a creative, resilient and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join the team and work with the teaching staff to supervise classes during the short term absence of a class teacher.
As this role involves covering lessons at short notice, it is essential that the post holder is flexible and able to adapt to new situations, with experience teaching full classes, individuals and/or small intervention groups.

Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Undertake and lead activities as directed by the class teacher during a short term absence.
- Supervise and support students in the classroom to ensure that they have access to learning material and are on task.
- Encourage students to engage in the lesson and participate in activities in line with current curriculum.
- Undertake the maintenance of pupils’ records and accurately document achievement and progress to be reviewed.
- Establish positive and constructive relationships with students, staff, parents and careers.
