Salary: Band 4 £22,369 – £24,054 (actual £8,342 – £8,970)
Hours: 16.25 hours per week, term time plus 2 additional days

William Leech Primary School are keen to find a creative and enthusiastic Thrive practitioner to join their dedicated team of support staff.

The successful candidate will be working within an experience team to support access to learning for children with emotional and/or behavioural issues, and contribute to the standards agenda by working with at risk children and their families to engage parents/carers in their child’s learning and development.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work alongside other members of staff such as teachers and teaching assistants to ensure that the childrens needs are met.
  • Support individual children and families in understanding the policies and procedures of the Trust and in meeting expectations in relation to behaviour, attendance and attitudes to learning.
  • Implement plans and deliver programmes of support to small groups of children to develop social and friendship skills.
  • Ensure any necessary documentation is completed in line with policy and procedure.
  • Support children in their learning and development by encouraging them to explore new interests during lessons.
