The Northumberland Church of England Academy Trust is looking for an energetic, creative and resilient teacher to work in a committed team at Castle School.


The learners within Castle School have severe or profound and multiple learning
difficulties, including autism and receive their education from a highly dedicated and
experienced team of teachers and teaching assistants.


The Trust is looking for a teacher to join the team from September 2023.
As a Teacher within Castle School you will:


● Have experience of working with children and young people with SLD/PMLD
● Be committed to providing the best possible opportunities for our pupils
● Believe that our pupils have a great capacity to learn and the right to be inspired,
enthused and challenged


In turn Castle School offers the chance for you to work in a purpose built provision with
multi-sensory rooms, a food technology room, an ICT room, a trampoline room for rebound
therapy, hydrotherapy pool, sixth form common room and independent living area.
