The Josephine Butler Primary Campus is based on the main site of the Academy in Ashington. In March 2012 the Robert Stephenson and Richard Grainger Campuses successfully merged to become this new campus for over 480 children aged from 3-11 years.
The campus is adjacent to both the Secondary Campus and the Centre, which provides us with fabulous facilities and opportunities, both indoors and outdoors.
We have a thriving ‘Friends of Josephine Butler Group’ that works closely with the campus to provide extra activities and opportunities for our children and their families.
We also offer a breakfast club each morning, many after school activities and a flourishing choir. We have close links with the local parish of St. John’s Church where we share special services.
We celebrate the uniqueness and talents of all our children. We have high expectations of behaviour and achievement in all areas and therefore focus equally on the personal, social, and academic development of all our children.
We want each child to leave our campus at the end of every school day full of enthusiasm for learning and with extraordinary dreams.
Feel free to contact us with any enquiries, you can write to us at the address below or telephone and speak to our Admin Manager Mrs Carol Drozdowicz in the office on 01670 844323.
